The story of El Palomar
El Palomar began in 2011 as a passion project — a bilingual magazine dedicated to the traditions, secrets, and everyday life of racing pigeon fanciers around the world.
Printed in small batches and shared between lofts, federations, and friends, the magazine grew thanks to its honest Q&As, breeding insights, loft tours, and practical health notes.
About the editor
The magazine was created and edited by a long-time fancier deeply involved in breeding, training, and club work. The goal was simple: gather the best conversations from champion lofts and share them in a way that felt personal.
Over the years, the magazine has featured interviews with renowned breeders, documented loft routines, and preserved methods from older generations.
The digital revival — 2025
After several years offline, El Palomar returns in a new digital format — easier to access, easier to preserve, and available to fanciers around the world.
We've rebuilt the magazine experience from the ground up, pairing biweekly issues with simple loft tools and a small trusted marketplace.
